Arsenal v Manchester United – Fixture History, Team News, Tips & More

This coming weekend, two of the biggest teams in Premier League history clash at the Emirates Stadium in London.

High-flying Arsenal will attempt to continue their quest to hunt down the Premier League title against their fierce rivals Manchester United in what should be a cracking game.

The two teams have had a long rivalry in England’s top flight and that rivalry was given added impetus during the reigns of Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger throughout the 1990s and into the 2000s and beyond.

They are two of the most successful Premier League sides of all-time and while both have fallen on tougher times of late, there is hope that under their current managers, they can develop into perennial title challengers once again.

Both teams have enjoyed relatively solid starts to the season, winning two games while Arsenal drew the other while United lost their opening away game at Tottenham.

So before we check on the latest odds for this game with bet365 Sport, let’s first check out how the two teams match up.

Manchester United could have Marc Cucurella signed on loan from Chelsea and perhaps Sofyane Amrabat in the squad, if transfer reports are correct. Luke Shaw’s injury has left United short of cover at left back and Cucurella would slot in as a replacement for the England full back.

United will also be without French centre back Raphael Varane who was subbed at half time against Nottingham Forest at the weekend with an injury and he has been ruled out of the trip to London this weekend.

£72m striker Rasmus Hojlund had continued training and is thought to be in contention for at least a spot on the bench this weekend.
